He was born in 1972 in Prostějov.After finishing the secondary school (in 1991) he worked as a pedagogical worker in Youth Centre Vápenice in Prostějov where he organized free time for children and youth.
In 1992-1997 he studied Faculty of Philosophy, subjects Sociology-Andragogy(Mgr.). Since 1998 he has been working at Faculty of Pedagogy, social studies department where he teaches sociology theories, common sociology, sociology of education. In 2004 he graduated from Faculty of Philosophy-doctoral study programme of sociology(PhD.). He is a co-author of Civics textbooks for basic schools published by Nakladatelství Olomouc, of interactive course Nové horizonty (New Horisonts) education to citizenship for teachers´ training students and other texts.
